OUR HISTORY

Lots of you know us, but lots of you are hearing about us for the first time.
So here is a brief history of Beer City.

We started in 1993. At the time we were very unsatisfied with the poor selection and poor quality of skateboard products. So we decided to start our own company. Our goal was to make high quality products that could hold up to hardcore skating. We also wanted to offer stuff that people could afford. That's where the "no graphics" idea came in. Plus we wanted to let people know that cool stuff was going on in Milwaukee and places other then California. California is cool, but not the only place people SK8.

At the same time we were all into hardcore/punk. We saw the need for a record label that would put out real HXC/punk. At the time, most labels only cared about pop, rap and techno. So we contacted some local and not so local area bands, and put out 7"s for them. Things worked so well we eventually did CD's and LP's too!

Nowadays Beer City is a full on skateboard company and record label. We're known all over the world and plan on continuing to make high quality SK8 products and release killer punk and HXC full lengths.
