Kenosha is pretty chill, it's right between Chicago and Milwaukee. You can drove to both cities within an hour.
There aren't a lot of spots so you kinda have to be creative.
The cops are bad, they don't make skating a big deal. I've got a ticket but just for trespassing.
Hopefully in Spring '06 they will start building a concrete public skatepark. It's going to be mostly street with one big vert multi bowl. The street area will be plaza style. The same people who built Dyrdek's park are building this one.
There are a couple in Kenosha and it's because I can skate with the friends I have been skating with forever.
I got racked on this rail. It was like a big metal barrier rail. I tried a nollie lip and the board didn't make it. I went straight down on it and flew on my side.
Mexican food, chorizo tacos.
We went up to Minnesota and filmed for Beer City. We skated all day at all these new spots. It was great.
The time I just told you about was probably it.
I like working at a skateshop, there are a lot of advantages. I see all my friends, I work with people I like.
